Is it weird to dress shop alone?

Weddings in October and I'm just finally able to get the time off to dedicate this week to go wedding shopping. Traditionally it looks like people bring their mothers, MOH, girlfriends etc but I think I would prefer to go at it alone. I don't want to fall in love with a dress then second guess it...

Weddings in October and I'm just finally able to get the time off to dedicate this week to go wedding shopping. Traditionally it looks like people bring their mothers, MOH, girlfriends etc but I think I would prefer to go at it alone. I don't want to fall in love with a dress then second guess it because someone in my party has an overbearing opinion. Not that I'm easily swayed but is it rude to not invite anyone in my wedding party to help me pick a dress?

    I focus and think much clearer when I am shopping alone. It is NOT weird. Think how much easier the consultants job is when there aren’t 15 different people talking. Go alone, find what you like, and then bring a few people you love and trust to see your dress. So glad you posted this question!
