Is it too soon to start planning?

We are planning to have our wedding sept. 2019 (2 years from now) Is it too soon to begin planning? I want to hire a wedding planner but I don't know how far in advance I should be doing that. Also, what is a good/average price for a wedding planner? Thanks!!

    It's definitely not too soon to start planning. Our wedding is June 2019 and we've already booked our venue, dj, photographer, and hair and make up. And all of our vendors were already booking for 2019. A lot of places book up 2 years in advanced, esp. the venues. A lot of people told us to wait and that we had plenty of time and I'm really glad we didn't listen. By starting early we were able to book the date and venue we wanted! And know we know how much everything will cost!

    Set a budget, guest list, and look for venues. I would pick your venue and photography within the next 6 months. Venues may be cheaper the earlier you start
