Is it too soon for planning?

How soon did everyone start planning? Our wedding is not until August 2020 but I want to start getting things together now because I feel like that time is going to fly by.

We also got engaged in February! I'm so happy everyone is already planning because I'm crazy about details and wanting everything to be perfect.

It's never too early to start planning, even if it's brainstorming ideas and writing notes about things you like or might want for your big day. Time does fly by very quickly as the day gets closer and life happens. You never want to feel your making a rushed decision for your big day. My FH and I (mostly me) have been planning since the beginning of this year and we are getting married December 2020.

I think it's a great idea to start planning now! We looked at our first venue, and the dates we wanted were gone a year in advance. Thankfully we fell in love with another venue, but there was only one Saturday left in May 2020, so that became our date.

It's also good to spread things out I think for financial reasons. This way you don't feel like you're dropping all your money all at once.

    Congrats!
