Hey folks.

I’m so confused. I am going back an forth with the idea of ordering my wedding dress now or waiting.
Our wedding isn’t until April 2021 and the vendor (Cocomelody) is having is Black Friday sale coming up. I don’t want to wait until next Black Friday because I know it will be Pushing it.
do you think it’s too early to purchase? Let me also make mention that I can send in my measurements later, Because I am ordering custom sizing since it is free with the sale. We haven’t even booked our venue yet but plan to do that at the beginning of the year. Like am I going out of order with this or should I just go ahead and buy the dressbecause I am ordering custom sizing since it is free with the sale. I just don’t want to get stuck trying to get a dress I am not absolutely in love with and at a good deal.

    It's a little early, but it's not like you're ordering it years in advance. I think it'll be fine.

    I do think it is early. What you want could change or you could find something else. I also don't understand how you would order the dress now without giving them your measurements now.

    I'm also getting married April 2021! Yay! I think it depends. Have you looked around at dresses already? Have you like gotten a good idea of exactly what you want? I wouldn't order the dress just because you might fall in love with something different between now and 2021. A dress online will always be there, it may not be on sale all the time but chances are Coco will have a similar sale November 2020 and you'll be able to get it then. Closer to your date. I dont think it's too early to look and start like searching though.

    Because they would allow me to pay for the dress/style then send in my measurements later. It would take about 2.5 months to actual make the dress. Which if I sent them in March or April and have my dress around June/July. Then if I need to get any additional alterations I can take it to a local seamstress. ugh maybe it is too early. 🤦🏽‍♀️

    It’s a little early, but not obscenely early if that makes sense. I would make sure that you have a venue picked out first, as the location can change the image of your wedding and impact the look you want. Either way I think it’s a good idea to try on dresses somewhere before ordering online so you know you like the fit and style.

    I’ve tired on several dresses with azazie to help me with shape and silhouette and now know what works with my curves. I’m also going to David’s Saturday. I have a vision for my dress and actually picked out something from the new 2020 line. Ugh I’m so over wedding planning. Lol.
    we want to have everything paid for 1 month before if not sooner. So we are doing everything early lol but I wasn’t sure about this dress thing.

    And yay for us april 2021 brides!!!!

    You could end up needing it altered by a lot depending on if you gain or lose weight. Many things could happen between now and then.

    You can order it if you want but I would just send in your measurements closer to the wedding that way you don't have to alter it as much.

    I don't think it's to early! I put a deposit down on my dress to be order already and my wedding isn't till Sept 2021. Mines will take 8 months to come in so it wont be here till june or july of next year. But the bridal shop has agreed to store it free for me and wait till the end of the year to start my alterations

    I would suggest the same thing waiting till it get closer to send in your measurements in but if you know you love the dress and you can get a great deal I wouldn't pass it up.

    The dress is $699. Normally they charge $70 for custom sizing but with the Black Friday sale I can get 20% off and FREE custom sizing plus I have rewards points totally about $15.
    SAVINGS! And everytime I look at this dress I get butterflies. Lol. The ONLY reason I’m going to David’s is to see if they have something similar and maybe try a couple others but that’s a good idea you have there

    I think it’s a little too early. Also, i thought i absolutely loved a particular type of gown, but i didn’t when i actually tried it on! so that’s a HIGE chance you’d be taking.

    I bought my dress at 19 months because I’ve been the same size for 10 years and I loved it. Now I get to wear it in 12 days and I have no regrets. I think it just depends on if it’s the right decision for you.

    I don't think it's too early so long as you buy a dress because you're absolutely in love with it and not because it's on sale. I get married on November 27th, 2020 and purchased my dress on July 16th, 2019.

    I don't think it's too early if you found a jet that you truly love. Plus if it's a good deal go for it. My FHN died are not getting married until fall of next year but I ordered my dress last month. As of right now I only need it probably to lose about 10 lb for it to fit nice but it's zips up and everything so kind of like some of the ladies above suggested I do have to watch my weight for a whole year but that's okay because he and I are both decided we want to look good in our pictures so worst case scenario I may need to have a taken in but I don't plan on losing that much weight to but if so I have time to do it.

    HI I ORDERED MY DRESS FROM COCOMELODY AND IT WAS ON BLACK FRIDAY SALE 2018!!!!!!

    I ORDERED MY DRESS LAST BLACK FRIDAY BECAUSE I WANTED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE SALE. MY WEDDING IS NEXT MONTH 12/14/19 AND I GOT MY DRESS AROUND MID-JANUARY. Sorry for the caps locks i just had a very lovely experience with cocomelody that I'm happy some else is considering them! I did order my dress in the custom sizing because i hate my arms and the dress i loved was a long sleeve. I have large arms and didn't want to look like the hulk busting out my dress. The communication with my agent was amazing! I sent her millions of measurements and pictures as well to help them make my dress. I want to say we emailed for a goood two weeks before the production of my dress started. This dress fits me like a glove! I ordered it at my heaviest to be honest because i figured id lose some weight but not much since im more athletic built and my problem area was my belly. The dress did come with a faint fish smell but it went away once i aired it out. But boy is it my dream dress and for the price i paid !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was sold. So i do suggest getting the dress early and taking advantage of the sale! If you love the dress then just buy it during the sale, like you said you can send the measurements in later to get it made! I highly recommend the company, I spent months reviewing the sight before i committed. You won't be disappointed. Don't be discourage to order early
