Is it stupid of me to not want a shower?

Maybe its because I've never had fun at bridal showers, but I really don't want one for myself. i'm pretty good at feeling a room, and it's always seemed that I was never the only bored one there. I've seen several games, and they all suck or are awkward because nobody knows the couple THAT well. I don't want a shower for myself, and we also won't have much in our registry anyway.....I know my Mom thinks they're fun, so it'd be more for her...but am I being entirely ridiculous? Oh, and I hate that they're only geared for women...like why don't the men come to this crap too?

I don't think you are being ridiculous. Having a shower is completely your choice. I personally want one because I have always had fun at showers. But not everyone agrees. And you can totally choose not to have one. Don't feel obligated. No where does it say you must have a shower.

I think you should do whatever YOU want! If you're not into them just let your closest gals know that! You are by no means obligated to do any showers or parties. I've always loved the ones I've gone to (more so the ones with alcohol and when I know more people!) Sometimes there's lulls but I'd still say overall they're super cute and fun.
