Is It Possible to Get Ready In An Hour?

Disney Lover, on April 27, 2017 at 7:10 PM

Our venue will let us use the bridal suite for one hour before the event, but I don't know if it's even possible for all of us to get ready that fast. Any suggestions?

No way!! I hardly get ready in an hour on a normal day. My hair and make up took about 2.5 hours (our glam squad spent about 5 hours total getting me and my girls ready) at a hotel near venue, then when we got to venue I put my dress on.

I don't think so, it's risky and u may feel rushed. I would suggest a near by hotel room to get ready

Be half ready like hair and make up already done and the only thing you have to do when you get to the venue is put your dresses on.

Agree with the others, you'll need way more time. But maybe you could ask to get early access? My venue contract said I had access to the bridal suite two hours prior and I just called and asked if I could have it earlier (6 hours earlier) they checked the books and sent me a revised agreement... Doesn't hurt to ask

I don't think so. I'd get ready somewhere else, like a hotel room or suite, and just use the bridal suite for touch ups and maybe pictures

If you have your hair and makeup done before hand, I'd say no problem, but if you are completely getting ready there, I know I couldn't do it!

From start to finish? No. I would do all hair and makeup at a different location then just put the gown on at the venue.

If you are wanting pictures in the bridal suite, your dilemma is actually a blessing in disguise! Usually the bridal suite is so crowded and messy with food, glasses, bags, purses ... a TON of stuff EVERYWHERE! Having hair and mu done at another site allows fir the suite to be neat and clean for pictures.

I don't think you'll be able to get everything done in one hour

Hell no. My hair took 45 minutes and so did my MU.

We're doing two hours and I'm a little nervous it won't be enough time.

    Yikes.

No way josé. Have your hair/makeup done elsewhere and just change into your dresses at the venue.

I was in a wedding where we got ready ourselves, still took a good 3 hours

Good luck! It's gonna take me an hour just to get my dress tied up the right way! (Corset)

I'd recommend getting your hair and makeup done in a hotel room then going to the venue to put on your dress! That's what I'm doing! We are getting a massive suite for 2 nights. Friday night me and my MOH are staying there, then Saturday everyone is coming to get hair done, etc. and Saturday night my MOH and some of my BM will stay there. Works way easier!
