Is it odd that we are having a second engagement shoot?

So we already had our engagement pictures taken (in Feb). However, dealing with the photographer before, during and after the shoot we decided NOT to go with her (thank goodness). We needed up booking another photographer and included in her price is engagement pictures. Photographer said it gives...

So we already had our engagement pictures taken (in Feb). However, dealing with the photographer before, during and after the shoot we decided NOT to go with her (thank goodness). We needed up booking another photographer and included in her price is engagement pictures. Photographer said it gives her time to get to know us before the wedding (i.e. how much direction she needs to give us). I am now also going to use this as a trial run with my new make up artist (one I used for 1st shoot was booked on our wedding day). So I think it will work out fine just seems odd in my head.

Go for it!! We did two shoots as well. The first one was a friend (non-professional) helping us out and it was more so for our Save the Dates. The second one was part of our wedding photography package.

I am doing two - I booked one with a Groupon I purchased. I loved her photos and they turned out great. I ended up going with another photographer for our wedding, but wanted my FH, her and myself to get comfortable and do the "test run" before the big day. So more pictures to go around.

We're just doing completely different season, outfit and setting so they aren't all the same.
