Is it appropriate to text a vendor?

I won’t get into the situation with my photographer because I’ve already posted about it twice here but I reached out via email about a week and a half ago to make sure everything is still on board for my wedding in 2 months and I have yet to receive a reply. I have her phone number and I’m not sure if it’s appropriate to text her. I’m also not sure what to say or how to word things if I do text her (should I just text to see if she’s seen the email or reiterate what was said in the email). Thanks!

Definitely OK to text if they aren't responding to your emails! They are working for you.
I would send a simple text saying "Hi! I just wanted to touch base with you and make sure we were all squared away for the wedding. I've emailed a couple of times and haven't gotten a response. Could you verify your email address? Thanks!"

Agreed. If she didn’t want you to text her, she wouldn’t have given you her number. Clearly you are only sending the text since you have no other way of reaching her. Go for it.

I definitely think it’s okay to text them! You deserve to have a response. Maybe just say “I’m not sure if you saw my email but”

Yes, it is okay to text. However, in this situation, I would probably just call. If they don't answer, I would leave a message and also send a text. A text can be ignored as easily as an email. A phone call, not so much.
