Is having a video still a “must” now a days?

Do you have any friends or relatives that can record and or edit the footage for you?

We ordered 2 really small 📹. I asked two people of significantly different heights to record. FH will edit the footage for the final video.

We had a friend record our ceremony that was it. I don't see the appeal in an 8 minute trailer, especially for that much money. I'd rather see pictures.

We’re not doing one because they’re so expensive, and we’d honestly probably watch it once on our 1st anniversary (if at all). It’s not worth the money for us.

If if you decide you don’t want to do it, but his parents continue to say you HAVE to do it, I would politely inform them that if they want it that badly they’re more than welcome to pay for it. That’s what I did with my FH’s aunt about flowers xD she dropped it immediately.

I would NEVER have paid extra for a videographer. Ours was included with our package and I’ve watched it once.
