I saw a thing on the news the other day that said Thursdays were becoming a popular day to get married.

Friday's are normally more affordable.. I mistakenly walked in on a Friday wedding this past Friday at my venue... it was jam packed. huge turn out. my aunt says she prefers Friday weddings because you get to unwind and have fun after a long work week. I'm having a Saturday wedding because we have a lot of out of town guest that are important like my future father in law lol

I think you're fine with a Friday wedding and with such a late start time, your guests wouldn't be as likely to decline as they would if you started at 5 on a Friday.

I'm on a Friday too! Our dj gave us a 10% discount, but that's it so far. I do feel I am lucky to have a larger selection of vendors though, as everyone I've contacted has had my date open!
