Is first class worth it for your honeymoon??

Hey y'all! We are getting our honeymoon together for early next year. We are going to Richmond, VA to Montego Bay, Jamacia. Do you think business/first class is worth it? It's roughly double but it's a 7hr flight and we would get free checked baggage, the lounge and the experience . Fiance says we should splurge for our honeymoon but I'm researcher in the relationship. We've both never flown internationally and think this may make it run a little smoother. What's your take?

I was just thinking about those long cross-Atlantic flights. I would’ve loved to have had first class on any overnight flight. I got lucky once and was placed in the emergency exit row. Sure I’ll help, if it means stretching out a bit on this red eye flight.

Yeah i've been on some brutally long flights to europe and asia and it's not so bad sometimes but in general you could definitely appreciate more space if available.

My worst flying experience was flying back to Raleigh from Bangladesh while coming down with strep just after the Ebola outbreak in 2014. Middle seat of an oversold flight. Oh it was horrible. The worst part was that it was New Years Eve and my dr. closed an hour before I got back in town until Jan 2 and I didn’t have the money for urgent care. 🤦🏻‍♀️
