Hi all! I'm new to WW and hoping I can get some feedback from all of you lovely ladies about online RSVP sites. I am a LONG ways away, but want to get some feedback as I'm beginning my research. I hear stories all the time about how a lot of people don't RSVP on time - I was thinking that an online RSVP site like RSVPify would be easier for people - I do plan to send paper invites. Most of our guest list is tech-savvy but I think I am still going to send RSVP cards as well for the not so tech savvy invitees.

Has anyone done this? Who did you use & would you recommend? Thanks all!

I did use the fb private event. I like it. I only got 2 actual RSVPS back after a month. First day I put that up half the people responded.

My 91 year old grandmother, is on the internet, on a daily basis. She would have been highly offended, if we sent her a card to return, because she's older.

Since we only invited 125 guests, we requested responses through regular e-mail. Of course, we received them by phone, text message, Facebook private message, etc. Most from hubby's side did not attend and they merely responded to my MIL.

Even hubby's grandmother's friend - in her 80s - has an e-mail account For the few that didn't have internet access at home, we did get a few responses from work e-mail addresses, or had a friend/family member respond for them.

I've gone to many weddings, in the last 5 years. I'd say that about 75% have used online RSVPs. Oddly enough, those weddings that were informal, or I knew were on a tight budget, tended to send the stamped response cards/envelopes, which I thought was odd.

    Hi!

I'm about to send invites to my guests and I'm thinking about an online RSVP.

What are the disadvantages of this solution? Have you had any problems with these platforms?

We used https://www.partylabz.com recently (not for wedding though). It was quite a good experience. It is definitely cheaper compared to RSVPify and looks much better in my opinion. Though, RSVPify allows to enter names for each member of group which is not possible in PartyLabz that allows to enter only number of attendees in group.

I ended up using theknot.com's RSVP function. Hightly effective - I mailed out my invites this Monday, got my first RSVP online on Wednesday... it's Friday and I currently have 10 RSVPs! I strongly recommend the RSVP function on theknot.com!

I used RSVPify for my wedding and i would NOT recommend it. it's quite clunky, feels like it was made in the 1990s in terms of layout and features. very not intuitive to use. if i need to update guests rsvps for them, it's hard to figure it out. when it comes time to assign tables, the list it gives u is sorted only by the rsvpify table number, not your actual assigned table number, no option to parse guest names, no option for comma delmiited files. also, file sharing did not work when i tried to share administrative duties with my fiance, so he ended up using my userid and password. overall, not worth the $30 they charge. probably the free ones from theknot or weddingwire will give you as many features for $0.

Can you use their RSVP function without creating a website? I can't see how to just have an RSVP link to send out for people to accept/decline with their dietary requirements.

Rsvpify is not a good system. I would not recommend it. It looks simple but has too many bugs and things not fixed. their guest list system is not organized and doesnt work.

    Dont waste your money!

We have a Facebook event page and a The Knot page to RSVP. SO BOTH of you asked me.
