We figured that after the rehearsal we would all go out to eat and everyone would just pay their own bill. I am wondering if this is not proper etiquette. What are you all doing for your rehearsal dinner?

This one is up in the air with us and it is driving me insane. Mainly because the wedding hall doesn't know which time yet to do the rehearsal. We are suppose to know when time gets closer. We may have some type of get together since my fiance's family will be in town, and I know he would like to spend time with them before our busy big day.

Do a simple, casual dinner (that you host; it's not great etiquette to ask them to pay for themselves). Skip the actual rehearsal. Almost no one needs it and if is not in the actual ceremony site, it's pointless.

If you don't want to have a rehearsal dinner, just don't have a rehearsal. People can manage a 30-second walk without a rehearsal. I've had two weddings so far, and didn't have a rehearsal either time.

If you have a rehearsal, you really ought to host at least some food and drink. However, it can be very informal and inexpensive. Pizza is fine.

Nope not planning on it. Since everyone lives out of town we are having a hard time getting everyone together to do a rehearsal. It won't be done till late at night.
