Is anyone doing sparkly bridesmaid dresses?

Got these at Davids Bridal. My colors are silver and gold so sparkles are a must for me!

My MoH is wearing a sequined gown. For her wedding last year (for which I was her MoH), we did mismatched blush and cream with sparkles. It complemented her gown, though nothing could outshine her. :-)

I got my gown from Lord & Taylor in August off the summer clearance rack for my MoH's April wedding.

Never tried one on, but I heard they are heavy and scratch your arms up. I would just check the reviews.

I love sequence!! Anything sparkly really because I'm over the top lol. My BP will be wearing some type of sparkly dress whether it's with sequence or embellishment. I want it to compliment by dress!

I'm not but ive seen some really pretty Adriana Pappel sequin dresses that are amazing. I would check them out. Macy's and Bloomingdales has them.

There were so many cute sequin gowns at the boutique I went to in town. Very new age but I like it!

They are beautiful, & exactly what I was planning on doing for my BM's. But when my MOH tried it on, it was SO heavy & her armpits were so red & irritated after only 5-10 minutes. :/

I wore a sparkly dress last year and while really pretty in photos, the inside of my arms got scratched up so bad. And it was so heavy and hot for a summer wedding

That's a good point, I didn't even think about the weight of the dresses!

I'm having my girls in sparkles not sequins. My dress is very glamorous and having them in sparkles definitely compliments. Any other dress that was more plain didn't look right.

I love sparkle.. watch sequins though because they are so rough and itchy on your arms

We aren't because we're having a daytime less glam wedding but I loveeee the look.

Some of my girls are wearing the Adrianna Papell dresses ( they got them on the blow out sale!), some aren't. My dress is lace.

I wore on in a wedding this summer. So glam and pretty! They were gold! It did start to get a little itchy though but it was near the end of the reception at that point

I REALLY wanted to do the ones in your picture but after reading all the comments on here about then irritating their skin I may not I don't want my girls to be uncomfortable. I may just incorporate the sparkles in other ways like their jewelry. May look into sparkle dresses that are not sequins too.
