Is a Sunday evening wedding allowed?

I am thinking of having my wedding Sunday night of Columbus Day weekend. I am thinking some guests will have off on Monday. My concern is the majority of our wedding will be from out of town and some will have to take off Monday. I don't want to be rude.

    I'm doing the Sunday before Columbus Day too. Ceremony at 3pm so it's not too late an evening for those who have to work the next day. It worked out better at my church because we could do a 3pm wedding for a 5pm reception on Sunday vs. 2pm wedding ceremony with either gap or really early reception on a Saturday.
