Is 4 too many people to bring to shop for wedding dresses?

I am recently engaged and will be wedding dress shopping for the first time hopefully this summer once the virus craziness lets up and can go back into stores to try on dresses! I want to bring my mom, my sister, my step-mom, and possibly my future mother-in-law. For those that have done this before, is this too many people to bring to my bridal appointment? Thanks for all advice!

No four is fine! Most places (from my experience) have room for up to 7 people and if online requesting appointments will ask or have a soft limit.
The first day I went with just my mom and grandma to a pop in look - we were all excited and my grandma can't travel far. I took ( My mom, future MIL, future SIL, baby sister, Aunt, and My Great Aunt/seamstress) to my yes day lol. It comes down to who you feel comfortable with and who will keep you in mind and be encouraging - because it can feel like a lot when you are trying on dresses.
For me, inviting my MIL and SIL was a bonding moment that they were to excited to be a part of.

I think four is fine! The shop I went to only allowed five people. I bought my mom, two of my closest friends, and sister.

I brought 5 people and it was fine! I wouldn’t go too many over that though, because you still want your opinion to matter most.

Four seems like a good max. I worked at a bridal shop and 5-8 tends to bring a lot of loud opinions where the bride’s voice is drowned out.
