Hey all.

My period is super irregular, I can go months without getting one and then have a super heavy one and then it will be normal for a couple months and then back to it's antics. I have poly cystic ovarian syndrome, which is why I have this. So I can't really track my period just need to hope and pray I don't get it the day of. What do you brides who had your period on your day do?

If the side effect you're concerned about is weight gain, is a hormonal IUD am option for you? I got one two months before my wedding to control painful endometriosis that was also causing flare ups of my Crohns disease, and because it's not delivered orally, for most women there's few to no side effects.

It's been a godsend. I've never has children, and the pain on insertion was totally tolerable, and the cramping lasted on and off for a week, but now my periods are super light, i don't need to take Aleve, and I'm so happy!

    Good luck!

One other idea...i was traveling in Mongolia,v going on a Ten hour bus ride with no bathroom. I wore Depends because with my bowel disease, i was really afraid what might happen. They are now made ofv fabric, soft and very discrete, and come in sizes to fit hips up to something like 54"! Just having them available have me peace of mind.
