My rsvp deadline is on Friday. The wedding is one month away. We invited roughly 50 people and most have responded but we've gotten about 10 declines and I'm expecting a few more declines. Since it was a small invite list there were some local friends who I didn't invite originally to make room on the guest list for out of town family and friends. I'd like to extend invitations to some local friends now but what do I do about the printed on deadline that's this coming Friday? Do I write in a new date? I would be hand delivering these invitations if course.

I most likely will be having this dilemma as well. I think your plan is good with just telling them personally when you see them. But I would still give them an invitation and just take the rsvp card out. Luckily for me, I hand made and printed all of my pocket invitations and anticipated having some decline so I made two sets of rsvp cards with two different dates. I could care less about the etiquette of an A or B-list lol. It is my fiance's and I hard-earned money paying for the wedding so we will do what's best for our budget. Plus most of our family understands we have waaaay to big of a family on both sides to invite everyone, so they will be happy they were invited weather it is from the A-list or B-list. Our original limit was 50 guest but we decided to bump it up to 80 because we had about 120 people listed.
