FH and I just got invited to a wedding that I'm not even sure if we're actually invited to. We can only go for the dancing, meaning we won't have a plate or anything. I'd feel so awkward showing up after everyone's done eating and then just drinking and dancing. I'd kind of rather not go but FH says...

First of all, it's never rude to decline. An invitation is not a summons.

Definitely skip this rude-ass tiered wedding. And I guess now you know where you stand with them, too.
