It's not that many people, but with their spouses it adds up. My question is...would it be rude to only invite the coworkers I'm close with? I don't want to cause any tension in the workplace. Please give your advice. Thanks!

Nicole, I'm in the same boat. Small office mostly women. Cant afford to have our co workers come to our wedding. I feel awkward about it. Some of them are Facebook friends and when they see posts, I feel bad. Couldn't even invite them to the shower, for if you cant invite to the wedding, cant invite to the shower. Didnt even tell them about the shower, but someone posted it on fb. I'll be glad in 8 weeks when it's all over. Good luck to you.

My FH had this and we only invited people that we spend time with outside of work. Luckily, no one has said anything but if you're concerned, I would.avoid inviting any of them.
