We did it! Invites in the mail. Our wedding is 87 days away, our RSVP date is June 10 (July 20 wedding) so guests will have around 6 weeks to RSVP after they receive the invite. We gave them the option to RSVP online or on the card included in the invite (addressed & stamped), so we tried to...

We did it! Invites in the mail. Our wedding is 87 days away, our RSVP date is June 10 (July 20 wedding) so guests will have around 6 weeks to RSVP after they receive the invite. We gave them the option to RSVP online or on the card included in the invite (addressed & stamped), so we tried to make it as easy as possible.

My question is, when did you start to get RSVPs? Should I expect them starting the end of next week? Or closer to the end of May?

I'm so excited!

Yikes! We are date twins and I haven't ordered my invites! Smiley atonished

I have them ready to order but won't be placing the order until the end of the week. My RSVP date is July 1 with an option to RSVP via text, message, or return the RSVP card.

We sent ours early! I've read online 6-8 weeks in advance is fine too. We just have a ton of out of state people and our date we need final count is June 20!

We got our first RSVPs about a week later. They are very slowly trickling in. Our deadline is May 4th, and we still have a TON left to receive. I feel like we will be doing a lot of follow ups.

Congrats! Our wedding is going to be small too, we only invited 35 people, most of which are immediate family. We mailed out our 12 invites on April 1st for our June 10th date. The RSVP is online, I received my first and only RSVP in that manner two weeks later. Also two confirmed yes' and one maybe via text message. I'm hoping the invites made it to everyone, but its been a slow moving process for us! Fortunatly its not many people to follow up with, if needed.

Just wanted to update you ladies! It's been 8 days since our invites went out. So far, we received 3 paper RSVPs (all yes) & one online RSVP (no). I have USPS informed delivery so I saw I have 2 more in our mailbox today. So not too bad for our first week!

UPDATE - 13 days until our RSVP date.

    92 "Yes"

    43 "No"

    98 Waiting on RSVP

The first week we didn't get any back, not ONE! The second week, they a few came in. Then the third & fourth week, we got several every day. Since then, we have steadily received a few a week. By far more people are using the paper RSVP vs. the online RSVP.

We expected a lot of "no" RSVPs, we invited full families (some parents decided to come without kids) and a TON of out of state family (some older who can't make the trip). So we were prepared to host 233, we were hoping for closer to 150! So far, it looks like we are on track to be right about there. I've already prepped to start emailing/texting/calling all 98 people who haven't responded. It's closer to 45 households, and the work will be split between me, my fiance, my mother, and his father, so hopefully it goes well!
