So funny story. We have certain...names...we like to call some people and those names who those certain people preffer to be adressed by. I already sent the 'save the date' invites, so now I'm working on my formal invitation's names on Excel. The thing is, there are some instructions on how to correctly address a wedding invitation, FORMAL ways of course. Titles, Mr.'s and Mrs.'s, etc. My soon to be husband asked me 'why can't we just write them how we want to? With nicknames and all?' and I've been asking myself the same question! How do/did you write the names on your invites? How formal did you go? Did you go with the "Auntie Keke" for example in a casual way, or with the "Mrs. Keke 12345 and family" formal way?

A few I personalized a bit like my moms:

    Carmen Xooooo

    Mother of the bride

    1234 Apple Road

    Los Angeles, CA 90029.

I also did "Maid of Honor", "Parents of the Groom" and Best Woman among others. Make it personal, they'll love that touch!

I was thinking of a friendly/formal approach. They just laugh too much when I talk to them by their formal titles lol

That's true. I saw my mom's invitation on her photo album and the only part missing from my invitations, is that specific envelope. It still has all the cards and invitation parts, just in one envelope.

Thank you!! You're right!! What I'm thinking is maybe going formal on family, since they want it to be extra, and semi formal or not formal at all with friends. But the examples I'm having are really helping me a lot!!!

Simple, yet formal, yet not too classy. I like it!
