Invite others to plan

Ryas, on October 11, 2016 at 11:17 AM Posted in Planning 0 6

My MOH is moving overseas and we tried to look for a wedding planning app so we can all collaborate and discuss items needing planned and delegate specific task for bridal shower and bachelorette party. The only app I found is WedHappy and it is only available on iPhone iPad devices........

Does anyone have any suggestions for apps we can collaborate as a group and discuss wedding planning in one locations?

So the only one responsible for planning your wedding it you. Also there are no "bridesmaid/MOH tasks" to delegate. All they have to do is show up at the wedding in a dress. As far as communicating.. sounds like email might be the easiest, but please don't give your MOH tasks or ask her to help plan your wedding - you will just wind up disappointed when it turns out she has a life too. No one will be as excited for your wedding as you are.

Also, please change your avatar so we can recognize you on the forums. it will also help you get more responses to your questions

Like MelissaErin said, you are the one who will be planning your wedding. I would just use email to communicate. No need to over complicate things.

Like PPs said, you are the only one planning. If they offer to help they can, but it would be easier probably to just do it over email.

You can get opinions over email. I created a private fb group to dicuss ideas and do dress shopping as they all live in different states.

My bridesmaids are far apart geographically so I made a secret "Bridesmaids" group on Facebook with the three of us so we can post ideas and such. I'd never use it to delegate anything to anyone but I've just posted pictures of projects I've completed or gotten their opinion on colors, etc., and they've posted ideas to me. So we just use it super casually once in a while.

Some MOHs, BMs, parents and friends actually love to be a part of planning and help out. Mine are, in fact they wish I would include them even more. The only thing you need to keep in mind is that no matter how much they care, you care about your wedding more, and you should never ask them to do too much or anything you'd be paying a vendor money to do.

I recommend group Pinterest boards! You can make these private if you want and also have a chat going within Pinterest. This is what I am using and my 2/3 of my BP are not local. I have several different idea boards for cake, flowers, decor, etc that are all public. Then I have two other boards, one with stuff I am considering and need to decide on later and one with things that are 100% happening.
