Invitations

Any recommendations of where to get invites? Beautiful, but reasonable. I'm trying not too spend too much due to the fact they'll just eventually get thrown away.

We were going to order ours from Minted. I ordered 5 samples from them and they really are pretty and great quality. Based on other places I've looked, they are on par with pricing. We did our save the dates through Shutterfly and I was so surprised how amazing those turned out! So, I just ordered samples from there to see what their invitations look like. I have been doing a price comparison and Shutterfly will save around $200 if we order our invitation from there instead of Minted or somewhere similar...

I'm having the same thoughts as you... I want them to be pretty, but they are just going to get thrown away Smiley atonished

Zazzle, Minted, or BasicInvite. We got our STDs from Vistaprint and they were great, but I can't speak for their invitations.

We got ours from Vistaprint during one of their many 50% off sales. A lot of brides have had good luck with Ann's Bridal Bargains too.

We got ours through Vistaprint. They have so many options, great quality, and are almost always having some type of sale! If you time it right you could even catch a 50-60% off sale! I would definitely recommend vistaprint!

Zazzle! The quality is amazing and they are very affordable. They have a 50% off deal everyday. Just wait for the invitations to go on sale. We ordered our STDs (feel so strange writing that 😉) and plan to order our invitations/RSVPs through Zazzle as well.

We went to Costco for our save the dates and they have a pretty great selection for a great price. In another discussion, one bride-to-be posted a picture of an invite for a wedding she attended and they were from Costco and looked very nice. I am totally with you the less I can spend on invites and save the dates the better because they are all eventually tossed out. Our save the dates were 75 large magnets for $89, which I thought was a great deal. At least worth checking out Smiley smile

We used Minted for our STDs and Invites! My advice would be to start looking early, utilize their free samples to get an idea of what you want. Then monitor their sales. They update every week, and last through the week. They have a great option to “buy now personalize later”! So you basically pick out the suits you want and you can pay at the sale price, but make updates to the wording of the invite later.

we were able to score 20% off, which saved almost $200! Now just need to finalize the ceremony start time and the meal options and I can send them to be proofed!

I may go with zazzle. Hopefully the color is right. Its so hard without actually seeing. So, were they cardstock? How did the print look? I just don't want it to look cheap. :/ I've spent so much time on different websites. Its getting ridiculous. Invites shouldn't be this hard. Lol my thing is the color. We're doing plum and gold. But, some are too purple or too burgundy. Ugghhh lol

I was really happy with mine. You can always upgrade the card stock that they print the invitations on. I was happy with the standard stock. This picture was taken in my car and doesn’t really do it justice. The colors were vivid and exactly as they were on the website when I ordered them!
