Has anyone used the elongated wedding invitations with detachable RSVP cards? I am interested in them mainly because they use less paper (no envelope required unless mailing internationally) but I haven't seen them in person, or heard of anyone using them. I can't decide if using them is a quality idea or not.

Here is an example:

We did this, and it's a big hit! You can get certain personalized styles relatively inexpensively on Zazzle and then perforate them yourself (this is the perforator I got, and it didn't take long at all: https://www.amazon.com/194B-OLFA-perforation-cutter-28/dp/B001GLP39A/ref=br_lf_m_8pab6yv83hm49mj_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&s=home-garden).

I had no idea the existed! Ended up doing an online RSVP to save the extra paper.

We are looking to order seal n sends from www.annsbridalbargains.com

I ordered a free sample to feel the weight of the paper to ensure the RSVP postcard would be thick enough for return mailing. I found a nice fall themed one n not worrying about formality too much...99% will end up in the trash after the wedding anyway.

I just got one of these as a guest to a wedding. It was cool and easy to me to use

@E.V. We did a boarding pass style as well, so I think that's how the search started. The ones we chose were by LetterBoxInk: https://www.zazzle.com/letterboxink.

They are very popular. Carlson Craft has lots of styles in a variety of stock options. We even create custom designs Smiley smile

ETA: I would not recommend trying to DIY these - there are very detailed postal regulations required with this style of item.

We got them and LOVE them! I personally didn't want to put a ton of inserts in my invite, so this was perfect! We got ours at Ann's Bridal Bargains for a very reasonable price! Highly recommend!!

That's the exact invite I used except in blue and the paper was shimmery. I LOVE THEM! We ordered our invites so last minute and I didn't want to waste time by ordering samples. We just pulled the trigger on it. The only thing I didn't like about the invites was the wording on them! So I spent a lot of time changing that. They are beautiful! Forever stamp for the outside and postcard stamp for the response card
