Invitations not delivered !!!

Do you have extras left over that you can resend to those that didn't receive them?

That's strange... if they were undeliverable for any reason they should have come back to you. Are you sure you had the addresses correct? Idk, it's possible they got delivered to the wrong house & then trashed?

No we don't have any extra ! & yes they were all the right addresses ! Everyone received their save the dates ! I only ordered as many invitations as I needed since we opted for more expensive ones . We are having a semi small wedding with our closest family and friends so we knew we wouldn't need random invites .

That sucks!! I had a close friends invite never come to my house and they resent it and I finally got it. Weird how things get lost. They had my address correct. I dont really have any words of advice and know I would be freaking out as well.

That's why I only posted the invites of folks who live OOT. Everyone else were given them in the hand. No stress or foolishness following etiquette.

This happened to a significant portion of our invitations. We resent a few, digitally delivered a few others (at the guests request "Well just tell me where and when and I'll be there ", and a few were HANDED another invitation.

Yep - that happened to me!! I just had to call them with the details or re-send some (I had a few spare) ...

Some of mine were ripped in half. I got one back a month later, so water damaged I couldn't read it.

So frustrating ! I guess I'll use our copy and scan it into the computer and email it digitally sorry to everyone who also had this happen to them !

Wow this is more common than I thought. We had quite a few come back return to sender which was weird because we sent Save the Dates to them and the addresses were right. I didn't get some back for 3 weeks which made things weird because I had a couple guest who thought they had been uninvited. They were afraid to ask and I had no clue they didn't receive it until I got the invites back. We eventually got it cleared up, but yea it was a headache.

Charla that's what I'm afraid of ! The only reason I know the few are because they're my fiancées immediate family ! Who knows which friends think they're uninvited !

The US Post Office sucks. I ordered two items recently that were both shipped to me 2 Day mail (should arrive in 2-3 days)...both took over 10 days to arrive. One from Florida and one from NY.

There's some weird things going on with the mail lately. I mailed a Christmas card in December and just got it back last week as undeliverable.

Oh gosh, this is the worst post to read a week before sending out invitations! I can't believe this is a common occurence.

Katherine ... Make sure no snow is coming before you send them . I have a feeling that was part of he issue ... Unfortunately that mixed with the fact usps has been slacking in general doesn't make it a good situation .

This is making me really nervous!!!!

My BM hasn't received hers and I sent over a week ago, she lives 5 minutes away from me, but people in Nova Scotia (I'm in Ontario) have already received theirs. I'm a little worried who else hasn't received theirs as well.

OMG this scares the heck out of me. All but one of our invites will need to be mailed. FH's brother and fiancee live here in town so we could hand deliver. AHHHH!!!
