Invitation wording help!

Emma, on July 11, 2020 at 9:25 PM Posted in Planning 0 3
So backstory my half sister has two kids, one is 8 the other will be 2 at the time of the wedding. Only her daughter has the same last name as her. She is not with either of the kids dads. She has been dating someone else since Christmas. Now for the question!
How do I word the envelope? I was thinking sisters name & daughters (8 year old) name on the envelope and then just putting that we have saved 4 seats. Idk how to go about this one

I think your sister’s name and family would work. I am marking on the rsvp portion “we have _ seats reserved in your honor” and when they rsvp online the names in the family will show.

I agree. I think if you put your sisters name & family it would be just fine. Are y’all close enough for you to ask her how she prefers the names to be listed? Just a thought. But I’m sure you’re safe with her name & family. Best wishes to you!!

I definitely think "sisters name & family" works! You could also do an outer and inner envelope and put your sister's name on the outdoor envelope and list everyone by first name on the inner envelope! 💌
