What time is your wedding? If it's during any kind of meal time I would be pretty hangry to not be fed a full meal

We are eloping to Savannah,GA so the celebration with family and friends will be about a month after (given time to send invites and make arrangements for those who may travel)

As far as timing, I plan to do 8-10pm

I think 8-10pm is fine for a dessert party. It is after dinner.

I like Maggie's wording too! I also think 8-10pm is the perfect time for a dessert reception. Any earlier and I'd be expecting dinner.

Are you expecting people to travel to share dessert with you? Just asking.

I'm not sure people are going to travel for a 2 hour dessert reception.

I wouldn't travel for a 2 hr reception. But 8-10 is the perfect time!
