Invitation wording assistance!!

Kimberly, on May 1, 2019 at 11:48 AM Posted in Planning 0 8

Hi there! I am in the process of getting my wording right for my invitations. We are using all in one invitations because I think they are awesome and so convenient. The bolded part is where I am a bit iffy....let me know what you think or if you have any options! Also am I missing anything??

BTW fh's parents are divorced.

I'd do "Reception to follow at (reception name) at seven o'clock in the evening" to stick with your five-thirty being written out.

I think this looks great but I do agree with spelling our seven o'clock. It just keeps the flow of the wording!

So I thought about that but would having "reception to follow at (reception name) at seven o'clock in the evening be weird? With the two "at"s?

Just curious if its just me thinking that or not. :p

I don’t think it sounds weird at all. I agree with everyone else to have it be written out to keep the same consistency in the writing

I agree with spelling out the 7pm to seven o'clock in the evening. I would only switch the two parts around, to match what you have for the ceremony. Example: (ceremony) "at five-thirty in the evening at (ceremony location). Reception to follow at seven o'clock in the evening at (reception location). Make sense?

What wording did you end up using for your invitations, Kimberly? When do you plan on sending them out?
