Ya, I’m sure they have a line item in their company budget to write off expenses like this and eat the cost. Fingers crossed for you!! Maybe try to escalate it if you get a no at first?

First off, what is the typo? If the company won't exchange for free or only a small fee, I would wonder if it's even worth paying money for new invitations. No one will look at it as closely as you are. I know when I get invites I look at the names, place, date, and time. That's about it.

Yeah, no one's going to notice an extra "f" in afternoon. And if they do, they probably won't care. And I say this as a college professor and former writing tutor. See if the company will do a free reprint. If not I wouldn't spend more money and time stressing about it.

Think of it this way: you said so yourself that it took a million read-throughs to notice it, and I'm sure you scoured the proof before submitting the order. Your guests will spend 2 seconds looking at it and toss it in a drawer or tack it onto the fridge to look at the day of for another 2 seconds to confirm the address on their way out the door.

If they don't do the reprint for free just send them as is. It's a great little story for the future.

I would talk to the company and see if they could reprint it for free. If not, I would just send them as is. Just like what you said, you looked through it a bunch of times and did not catch it right away, so, the guests would likely do the same. And if I were to receive that, I wouldn't really care even if I see it. Don't stress over it.

As mentioned before, most people won't notice. The human brain actually has a mechanism that can make you blind to duplicate letters side by side.
