Invitation questions- has anyone used zazzle?

Mrs. W, on April 28, 2015 at 2:03 PM Posted in Planning 0 9

Has only one used zazzle for their wedding invitations? How was the quality? There is currently a pretty decent groupon for their website $44.99 for 110 invitations and envelopes. With an extra 10% off when you use code sale3

I'm not sure about Zazzle, but Vistaprint oftens has wicked deals.. yesterday there was a 50% off your order, which was insane, today is 40% off most things.

I love Zazzle! I used them for our engagement party and wedding invites. I have also used them for other party invites and Christmas cards. My seating chart and welcome poster are from them too! I have never bought anything bad from them and the quality is awesome! I highly recommend them. Here is my welcome poster and seating chart I got through zazzle.

My save the dates look great - I bought them with a Groupon, too.

I used Zazzle last year with a Groupon. It was a good deal.... but we forgot to put the dates on the invitations lol! (three people looking at the invites didn't catch that... oi vay!). It was fine because our style changed drastically after we ordered the invites so I needed to get new ones anyways...

As mentioned it's a great deal, but I wasn't happy about the paper quality for the invites. I wanted matte finished but, if I remember correctly, the zazzle groupon forced you to get the standard finish which wasn't thick enough for my taste and was also a glossy finish. On the other hand, with the vistaprint groupon, you spend x amount for y amount of money to spend, so you can upgrade quality of paper if you want.

Anyways, I'm now having my invitations handpainted by an artist, and then printed by a local company on 120lb textured paper... invitations have become my "thing" to fret about so I spent the extra money.

If you're looking for a deal, zazzle and vistaprint are the way to go with those groupons and all the codes you can use.

I used them for my Save the Dates and Invites with the groupon. I used multiple groupons to get all my invites and it let me just pay the difference for the matte finish vs. the standard finish.

I am very happy with them and just put a band around them to hold all the rsvp cards on it, a sticker (from shutterfly) from our engagement session to close the band and it looks fancy. I only spent $120 for 150 invites so I am very pleased!

We used Zazzle for our Save the Dates. It was really easy, the quality of print was good. None of the colors in the photograph looked weird or distorted. They were fast.

    I would recommend them
