Invitation Mistake

So my best friend who is also my Man of Honor made our invitations. After making sure everything was spelled correct and addresses were correct he sent them to be printed. It wasn’t till then that I realized that he only used our first names on them. He can’t change them for the reason that it says the order is already being processed and no changes can be made. It’s probably not a big deal, but it’s really stressing me out. Do you all think it will be something our guests will notice and make a big deal about?

I think you’ll be okay! I ended up putting our full names but was very close to doing only our first and middles because the invitations that I loved didn’t really fit our full names without looking hectic. My mom was like “well it’s not like you’re inviting strangers” 😂 and basically told me not to worry about it. Don’t stress! Maybe just make sure your last name(s) are on the address labels when you send out your invites

Hi Alyssa!
This is super easy to clear up with your guests!
If you’re including an envelope for guests to post their RSVPs within your invitation suite, you can put your full names on this. If you have a wedding website, with the URL on the details card, you can also add your full names to this.
As Emily mentioned, you’re not inviting strangers to the wedding! It’s highly likely they will know who you and your FS are by first name alone. Also if you sent out STDs, they will be expecting the invite!

This. Honestly, it should be fine regardless, but I'd still try to have your return address list your full names just in case someone is confused.

I've seen invitations that only had first names on them. I think you'll be fine!

I was going to put first and last name but I actually liked the look of just our first names! I have seen many formats with just first names as well. I think it should be fine! But honestly I am gonna run the design by my mom first just to see if she likes it. I wanted to make sure she's okay with the modern "Together with their families" wording too since we are all paying.

I didn’t think about the RSVP cards. Good idea. I think I will definitely do that. Thank you! And yes we sent out STD.

I don't think this is a big deal. My fiance accidentally ordered address labels that say "___ & Kellie" instead of something recognizing we're both about to be the "M___'s" and I was sad at first but realized it won't matter
