I'm having a hard time deciding on the invitations and any paper related items.

Show me your wedding invitations! Please. Smiley smile

I wanted simple, elegant. I actually worked with a marketing/branding firm I know who also does wedding stuff, but from a branding point of view. She looked at my Pinterest and dress pics and got wedding details and then came up with these to match my wedding style.

I just ordered mine yesterday off of Zazzle on sale! I wanted my invites to be elegant yet simple that fit our colors. We both are having a slight rustic yet modern wedding so, I wanted something that showcased it!

The design is from Elli, but I wanted to make changes so my sister edited them for me and I had them printed from moo.com. The envelopes are from Paper Source.

Our wedding is Hawaiian/tropical themed, so we got orchid/flower-inspired invitations. We got them from Vistaprint and I spent time adding some lavender, twine and vellum to add a bit of our personal touch to it.

Save the dates are concert tickets I designed and will have printed on glossy paper at staples.
Invites I quickly designed with my cricut. My co-worker just recently gave me a ton of high quality different color scrapbook paper. I am debating printing on the paper she gave. I think it would be cute to have different colored invites. I plan on making a like belly band thing to go around the invited and rsvp cards then some twine and a sprig or 2 of fresh herbs. I am planning on using fresh herbs instead of flowers for reception decor. I will also make envelopes most likely using that like brown craft paper.

I had it lying around (used to be a huge scrapbooker). I think Michaels or Hobby Lobby carry vellum, or Amazon - love Amazon cause it gets delivered straight to the house and I don't need to make the pit stop before or after work!

Does the Code work on your STDs?

Are your fresh herbs going to be freshly cut or still in the pot for people to take home? I like the herbs idea a lot!

    I really want these:

They work out to like $2/invitation. Also, there are matching party favor boxes, which we totally don't need, but I really like. Smiley laugh FH is finally getting excited about planning, and is going to look at them with me soon!

If you just need brown envelopes, you might want to order them from China and save yourself the trouble. I have bought a lot of my wedding crafting supplies online from overseas, and there are a lot of finished products you can buy cheaper than crafting them yourself.

Ooh! Alma, you should look at Indian wedding invitations! They are WAY more colorful and intricate than American designs, and priced the same. I am showing some to FH along with the Chinese ones I posted.

The herbs will be cut in jars.. Like flowers, but herbs instead.

The qr code does work and brings u to the wedding website. The website is from Zola. I purchased the custom domain name and just googled qr code generator. That is a static code. From my understanding a static code means you can not change the website name.
