Invitation help!

Brandi, on August 23, 2019 at 3:22 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 5

Can you lovelies help me with the wording, etc of my invitation? It is an informal small second wedding. Ceremony is at Lone Rock Beach, dinner follows after at a separate location....does it read well? I am at a loss! What would you add? What would you change? Thoughts? Thanks in advance!

I love the quote you have on the front!! Is this going to be a postcard? I only ask because of the white space you have on the right side of the back. The only thing I would add is the time of the ceremony (unless it's on your website?). I think it's super cute!!!

Thanks! I think I am going to have it changed to an invitation with an envelope, rather than the postcard it is designed to be. So the wording would be stretched out....Thoughts? I also realized there was no time indicated. This initially was going to be a save the date, but we are actually just going to do invitations.

You're welcome! I think it would look nice if you kept it the way it is (don't stretch it out), but just center the text instead of having it on the left. I'm sure it would still look nice stretched out though! Totally up to you! Personally, I would mock it up both ways, then look at them side by side and choose the one you prefer. Smiley smile

Its super cute, but I think it reads a little too much like a save the date...which much be confusing. I would put the name of the beach above “lake Powell” and the reception, RSVP, etc below “lake Powell”. I would take off the “we’ve anchored a date” and put “please join us as we tie the knot” with names and dates in that spot. Good luck!!

You could also put a photo in that white space if you wanted.
