Invitation help

Lucretia, on April 23, 2020 at 10:46 AM Posted in Planning 0 29
So we are getting married in August, and plan on sending Invitations out in early June. So my question is this: (1) What date should we put on the RSVP cards for return back to us? (2)Where can we get inexpensive invitations made? We were planning to make the ourselves. 😄🤔

I would say check with your caterer on how long they need - probably three weeks before or so. There are a lot of options on Shutterfly, Etsy, Ann's Bridal Bargains. We got ours made for us, but you have a lot of options.

    Hello Kathryn,
Thank for you suggestions. We have looked on Shutterfly before, we actually bought Save-the-dates, last year for our original wedding date. They did a great job, we added our pictures. 😄 Hmmm Maybe we can use them again. Very helpful 😊❤️

We got our save the dates from them too! There are a TON of options on Etsy, and if I was going to do ours over again i would print using one of their templates. Especially because you can make it unique! I think ladies on here mention Zazzle as well.

I bought a template from Etsy for our invites, enclosure cards, table numbers, etc. We are probably going to have Costco print them (around $130 for 100 invites and 100 enclosure cards with return address label printing on outer envelopes).

We got beautiful invitations from magnet street! They had a 75% off sale so we got invitations for around $1 a piece when they usually were $5 a piece!

My invites & RSVP cards are from Zazzle, save the dates are from Simply To Impress. Both sites have everything, they also have massive sales pretty often.

Vistaprint, Minted, Zazzle, AnnsBridalBargains all have pretty good prices.... I’d send the invites out 8 weeks before and as for them to have them back about 4 weeks before so that you have time to contact the stragglers who forget to send them out.

I used Zazzle for my invitations and they came out very nice ( I was able to order 1 sample to see if I liked it before placing the final order). They have great sales and customer service was very helpful. I will send the invitations out about 6 weeks prior to the date.

Vistaprint is my preferred printer. You can search for really good coupons.

I would request the RSVPs returned 3-4 weeks before the wedding date.
