Information on back of my invite--wording help!

Jeanette, on August 3, 2018 at 1:48 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 5

I am sending a formal invitation to everyone (see below). I am not debating whether or not I want the RSVP information on the back (I definitely do for cost reasons and to save paper!). I just need advise on what to put at the bottom so people know to look on the back. Or do I even need to put anything on the bottom? It currently says. "Merriment to follow." I am thinking of changing the wording to "Details on back," "Details on reverse," "Information on back side"...what would be the most appropriate way of saying this? What are your thoughts?

Your best bet will be to stuff the envelopes backwards so that the back will be what people see first.
I had a back side to my rsvp and on the front wrote “please see reverse for more questions” and I’d say definitely not more than 70% realized there was a back. The thing that works in your favor though is people will be looking for rsvp info. ...hopefully haha.

I'd put "details on back" I just think that one sounds the best

Honestly, with a formal invite, I wouldn't put anything on the back, especially a picture. It lessens the formality IMO

Thanks so much! My fiance said to stuff the envelopes backwards also and I thought he was crazy, but coming from you I will do that! Smiley smile

I would definitely stuff the envelopes backwards.
