Inexpensive snack ideas for wedding

FH changed his mind about what time he'd like the ceremony to be and what food he'd like to eat. He wants to go back to my original idea of a cake and punch wedding but he still wants to feed people. So now I'm trying to think of affordable snack ideas so people have plenty to munch on but not...

FH changed his mind about what time he'd like the ceremony to be and what food he'd like to eat. He wants to go back to my original idea of a cake and punch wedding but he still wants to feed people. So now I'm trying to think of affordable snack ideas so people have plenty to munch on but not necessarily act as a meal. We're planning on it being a fairly short reception. I would like to do something a little better than a sandwich tray. Thanks everyone!

I would do small ones, not the normal Mexican size. They are filling, but I don't think too much if you they keep them little.

TACOS! I want to go to a wedding with chips, guac, salsa, and tacos for munchies, that sounds fantastic!

@Jacks: Perfect. That's actually what we were getting because I prefer those. Thank you

@Orchids: Great! I feel good about what we're serving now! I'll add guac because you're right, what is Mexican food without guacamole?

FH and I are doing 'Tacos and Tequila' for our elopement reception! Guac, salsa and queso with chips for appetizers and a taco bar for the meal. It's just a casual backyard event of about 50 people. Oh and of course plenty of tequila and Mexican beer!

A taco bar or nacho station, quesadillas, taquitos...I think you can get by with a mix of light and more substantial small plate or appetizer things. and YES on the poppers.
