Indoor or outdoor ceremony?

The plan is outdoor but if it’s too chilly or not nice the indoor option is beautiful too so I’ll be fine either way!

As pretty as an outdoor ceremony would be, I've always been too afraid to risk it. Weather is too unpredictable for me. Not to mention allergies, bugs, heat/cold/, etc.

Outdoor, New Orleans in September is what we’re shooting for!

I live in northern PA and we are having a wedding in the lower part of NY, just south of the finger lakes. Since my wedding is September 26, we decided to have a strictly indoor wedding with the option of outdoor photos undercover at a local park afterwards. My anxiety couldn’t handle if it were to rain. I am hopeful the weather will be nice for some beautiful outdoor photos.

I’m having indoor everything, it’s too hot in September

I am getting married 9/3/2020 (yes, it's a thursday - but the thursday before the Labor Day weekend). We are getting married on a farm that has a tented area - adjacent to the farms B&B Inn. Since there is a tent, the plan for inclement weather will be to have the ceremony inside the tent and then convert to reception later. Besides having the wedding on a weekday, we are also having 2 ceremonies - 1st ceremony will be in the church (his wish) and 2nd ceremony will be in an English garden setting on our venue's property and officiated by my brother (my wish). So we are able to do both. I originally wanted to get married outdoors so we could have our dog participate in walking me down the aisle. But she passed this year. So, instead, we will have a picture of her where we stand in the English garden - so she can still be with us in spirit!

Indoor for all -- Night Before, Ceremony, and Reception. It is still very hot here in SC in September and it is hurricane season. If we get an inch of rain or more, we get a $5000 credit at the jewelry store where we purchased rings!

Technically both. I’m having a simple Catholic ceremony in a church and then an outdoor ceremony as well

I just love the thought of an outdoor ceremony. i'm taking the chance for a chilly day in november. The reception tho will be inside the venue. once the sun goes down i think it should be an indoor thing lol

Our Wedding was inside on 9/21/19, the last Saturday of the Summer.

We are having our wedding outdoors. Ceremony will be on an alpine lake beach, reception will be in a big tent next to the lake lodge. Therefore, only think we will need to adjust is the ceremony if the wedding doesn't cooperate. September up here in the mountains of Idaho can be finicky, but more stable month than Oct. Usually warm days in the sun and cool at night. But we will see. Some years we have been hot, and some years we got snow. Fingers crossed.

I live in San Antonio TX so March-September is unbearable outdoors in my opinion (85-100 degrees on avg). We're getting married in January and will have a short outdoor ceremony. Some January days its in the 40s and some its in the 70s so it will really just depend how the weather is that day! Our venue does have an indoor option if it's too cold or rainy.

Indoor Indoor Indoor because I get too anxious about weather haha ... I would rather just plan for a beautiful ceremony indoor than having to rush into a backup plan the day before :/

Mine is in September and usually it's pretty nice we're I live. Mines outside but we have a tent to have it under if it rains
