Including younger siblings

Tori, on May 16, 2019 at 5:33 PM Posted in Planning 0 9
My two sister are 12 and 11. They are not going to be bridesmaids or the flower girls but I would really like to include them in my wedding. What are some ways I can include them?

Junior bridesmaids? My sister in law did that for a few of her cousins. They walk down the isle same as bridesmaids, have similar dresses but they don’t have the responsibility that your bridesmaids have.

My two soon to be step-daughters (13 year old twins) will be junior bridesmaids.

My 10 year old niece and 14 year old niece are going to be greeters at the door and helping elderly to their pews/seats. I couldn't think of anything either because we aren't having a huge wedding party. Just two and two.

    Junior bridesmaids?
When I was around that age, I and another cousin of similar age did the guestbook attendant thing.

If your dress has a long train or veil maybe have them carry it. I did that for my aunts wedding when I was 10. they could watch the guest book or usher as well.

My dad will be walking me down the aisle so I plan to have my brother walk with my mom (he is not in the wedding). Maybe you can have them walk with your mom, be junior bridesmaids, hold your train or they can pass out programs or something similar as people are getting their seats. Not sure when your wedding is but at my friends wedding it was an outdoor ceremony in October so it was a little chilly and she had her younger nephews pass out programs and blankets to people as they found their seats.

Yes, I decided to have them both be my videographers (since I’m not hiring anyone) ( and since they both will do it I’ll have different angles and I can pick the better videos) and I’m having a Polaroid guestbook so they are going to be taking photos of my guests for that.
