In suite ceremony & reception

Monique, on February 18, 2018 at 7:39 PM Posted in Planning 4 12
Hello everyone! After a few months of planning, my FH and I have decided to scratch the big wedding plans and go to Vegas! We are expecting about 20 people to attend. My hopes is to find a nice hotel suite or rental home to hold the ceremony and reception dinner before hitting the town. Because I am not local and never been to Vegas I don’t know where to go. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help Smiley smile

Vegas is awesome! There is so much to do, so much fun to be had. I would start by looking on hotel websites there. I would suggest staying somewhere towards the middle of the strip since you haven't been there before. Like the Bellaggio, Paris, Ceasar's, or Cosmopolitan. Go to their websites. Hopefully there would be some info on them about having a wedding there.

    Have fun!!

I second that. You must stay on the strip. Lots of the hotels offer wedding packages which allow you to custom what you like. Some can be pricey but allow you to stream the ceremony if you wish. Have fun.

Thanks Julie! I was looking into the Stratosphere. Not so sure about it but it was recommended thru the Delta vacations package. I’m still searching since I have time.

Thanks Celivia! I’ve been looking into those. I kinda want to do the in suite option if possible that way I can spend some quality time with my visitors. My research is not done yet so no option is discarded lol

Monique - I stayed at the Stratosphere many years ago. The location is at the end of the strip, far away from the center of the strip. I would even say, not really walking distance. Keep that in mind when looking at places.
When you say "in suite", do you mean you want to get a suite for you and your FH and have your ceremony and reception in there? Is that the same room you will be sleeping in that night? Who will clean up after the party? Just some things to think about.

Great feedback Julie! I really didn’t think about the location of the hotel and will definitely take that into consideration. We were thinking of renting one of the suites in MGM grand for the reception dinner (just one night) in addition to the room that we will have for the week we are there. I will also make my notes about the clean up after it’s all done. Luckily my best friends and sister have agreed to set up the room...guess I’d be the one to take it down if we go that route 😕

We’ve decided the same thing! We’re going to have the ceremony at red rock canyon and have a nice dinner at a restaurant after or rent a huge house and have something set up there. Congrats! I was looking at vivalasvegasweddings.com before deciding on Red Rock. Good luck!

Our price is $950 and includes pics, toast, officiant, video, boquet & bouttoniere, 8" cake, and 2 wedding songs. You can also get a limo for an extra $75. There are a lot of other upgrades at a very reasonable price.

So crazy u literally sound like me in some of these bride communities. I am planning a ceremony at Mon Bel Ami Chapel booked and schedule now I’m trying to figure out the reception. I am looking at local restaurants and possibly using our suite and getting a small buffet set up in our room!
