My dress came into the boutique a couple weeks ago, but I've been putting off going and trying it on because I'm feeling really self-conscious about my body these days. My mom finally convinced me to go yesterday so we could make sure it was the right color and everything. I still like the dress itself, but when I put it on, all I could think about was how it would look better on someone super skinny. I've always struggled with self image and now I feel like it's ruining how happy I should feel about the wedding dress. I have a rather wide ribcage and a very undefined waist and small hips/butt (which look big in the picture because it needs to be taken in). I hope this wasn't the wrong style for me.... Be honest-- does the waistline look horrible?

Oh please. I cant stand when tiny-waisted thin women call themselves fat. You are not fat, by any means. You look great.

Sorry if that sounded rude, i didnt mean it like that but its true.

Jacki, it's ok it wasn't rude. I don't call myself fat, I've just struggled with body image my whole life. I objectively know that nothing is wrong, but I can't help but see things that I hate every time I look in the mirror/at a picture. It's pretty shitty, actually.

In all honest, that dress is very flattering on you. It makes your waist look teeny, tiny. Furthermore, in the picture where you are smiling, you look absolutely gorgeous and you totally outshine even the most beautiful of dresses.we all tend to focus on our flaws, but the way I see it, you don't have any.

Omg you are the last person on God's green earth who should be second guessing how you look, in that dress or anything else. but man that dress. it's simply you, you and you.

OMG You are beautiful in that dress!!! You just look...wow, elegant, beautiful, graceful, need I go on? Hahaha. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

The back of the dress I absolutely love. ^_^ The less sparkly belt looks better on you, my preference would of been the slight sparkly belt, but that's me.
