I wanted to dance to "Mama's Song" by Carrie Underwood..but my mom wants to dance to "Because You Loved Me" by Celine Dion. I'm basically in the same situation so I will only be doing a mother-daughter dance and not the typical father/daughter dance.

Mommy/daughter dance too here!! i loved mama's song from the moment i heard it......we might have to fade out after 2 mins though - you see my mom is very weak right now - she is ill - i just hope she makes it to my day and beyond --- seeing how sick she's been, im sure i will be a bawling baby during this extremely emotional and precious moment with her!

You know....this is a great idea. I too was raised by my mother....but I had not thought about doing a mother daughter dance. =) I am going to totally steal this idea.

I'm dancing with my mom to Mother Like Mine by The Band Perry. I love the song, and so does mom!

Really good idea never thought of it either as I was raised by my aunt and she wasn't married and she was very generous with letting my biological mother walk me down so I can totally make her feel special with doing this with her!!

We are doing Wind Beneath My Wings but IDK how to squeeze it so as not to bore the guests and/or take away from father/daughter OR mother/son dance.... any suggestions?
