We met our first day of college {Aug '08}. We had all four of our classes together assigned by the school, what are the odds? In the first few days we both were curious how well we would get along giving the fact that our lives were so different. Manda was the sweet, innocent girl next door while I was 18 with a kid. As the semester went on we got closer. We started talking online and texting all the time. Then Manda got me a job at AirJump {Nov '08} and we spent even more time together.  Not long after we started working together, I began realizing I had more than friend feelings for her. (At the same time she's realizing the same thing). Neither of us said anything though. She then starts dating an ex-boyfriend from high school so I try even harder to ignore my feelings. At the end of the semester we realize that we couldn't go more than a day or so without seeing each other. We always said we needed a "Manda (or Stephy) fix". Time after time things would happen and we'd get those butterflies, but neither of us would say a word.      On New Year's Eve {Dec '08} I confronted Manda (along with our boss) about some stuff we had heard about her boyfriend. Then Manda and I text all night wanting the other one to say something. It was driving me crazy as I read the texts because I kept telling myself I was just reading too much into what she was saying because of the way I felt and never imagined she actually meant what I was thinking. We spent New Year's Day {Jan '09} together at work all day. Then that night as always we rushed home and got online to talk more. She asked if I wanted to play 'Truth'. [Instead of Truth or Dare] I was completely intrigued of course. At some point she asked if I had ever kissed a girl...then I turned around and asked her if she had or had ever thought about it.  She told me that she had thought about it and curious as ever [and hoping, praying, and wishing] asked her who she had the thought about. She told me that when she thought about it that it was me. We talked about all the different moments we had that made each of us realize our feelings more and more for each other. We talked until our mom's were up and getting ready for work at 7am. Neither of us wanted to stop talking to sleep because we were afraid it had all been a dream. But as soon as I got up, Joey and I went to Manda's house and spent the day with her and her family. (And to exchange Christmas presents) So although we never officially declared us as "going out" we have always considered Jan 2, 2009 as our anniversary. On Jan 6 we went on our first date. It was the day before the Spring semester started and we went to see Twilight.. :)
