Well, we have had NOTHING but trouble. I think it is really a branch by branch situation... but seriously just ISSUES. First things first: they did not put our GM outfits in a computer... it is literally written on a piece of paper in a binder at a specific jos a bank location. If they want the promotional price, they have to go to THAT location. Whatever, we just told all our GM to get to that one. I thought it was old school, but understand that these people work off commission, so I am sure they want them purchased at THAT location. I was annoyed but that was the least of our problems. I am just so fed up with this place, I could scream. Get ready for a long ass rant (cont in comments...)

Okay so I just called the Jos A Bank that I went into to pick the suits (Tallahassee). She said that the guys can go to the Jos A Bank in their respective cities to get measured, and then the GM is responsible for calling his measurements and credit card number in to the Tallahassee store and then they will send the suit to the guys respective cities from there. Not a huge deal. I'm glad I'm getting this all done way ahead of time.

I'm glad you've contact people about the issues you've been having. My BMs had a horrible experience at the DB in their area and refuse to go back in there. I contacted customer service about it and they have alerted the district manager to the situation. Meanwhile, my BM went to a different DB and they had such a good time the one went back to buy her wedding dress for next year. So, it goes to show experiences can differ by store. But most people don't contact when they have a bad experience, so I'm glad you did. Keep us posted.

MW is charging my GM different prices depending on the location. They also tried to charge me $50 more for my FH tux and I had to pull out a reciept that showed the correct amount ( I went to pay off at another location I randomly saw while driving). The employee told me that the "coupon" wasnt in their system but they can call the location and get it reapplied to everyone.

What a cluster! Sorry that happened to you. I went into my local JAB to get info before DH had even decided on suits and I got totally ignored. Like, literally two employees looked at me, did not say a thing, and then went on to do something else.

MW is where we eventually got everything from and they worked out well. Everything was in the system and we had no issues. They even supplied an extra shirt with each guys tux for sweating issues. I'm in Florida, I don't know if they do that everywhere. My only complaint is that we found a coupon online for money off a tux rental and they refused to honor it because they said it was for prom tuxes only. The coupon didn't say that but whatev.

Wow... What a nightmare! I'm so sorry you are going through this nonsense! We originally planned to use Men's Wearhouse, but had a bad experience. After more than one disinterested sales guy passed us off to someone else we sorry of doing what we were looking for... Then at his grooms try on, they called us and said to stop by anytime to try it on. We showed up and they told us they were too busy and we should go have a drink at Applebee's and come back. Really? So we leave and come back and finally get some assistance, and the only things they pre ordered was the pants and jacket. No shirt. Nothing. So he puts the pants on and they are really unflattering. We ask the clerk of there is another option in white and they said no. Unless of course we opted to BUY a pair of white tuxedo pants. WTF? Who thinks that is a reasonable solution??? We finally just walked out. We went with Savvi and have been VERY pleased. Nicer suits, just what we are looking for and it if actually cheaper than MW. Plus the customer service rocks. I am sorry to hear of your troubles but I don't think I'll likely be shopping at Jos A Bank anytime soon.
