If my cousins are sisters do i have to have both of them in the party?

I am trying to have one cousin from each side (mom and Dad sides)... But still keep my bridal party small (6 girls). On my dad's side I have two close cousins, they are sisters, can I just have the older sister as a bridesmaid or do I need to have both of them?

I would ask the older one and have the younger one participate in the ceremony somehow. Just let her know you wanted to keep it small but still want her to be a part of your day.

This is completely up to you, you can choose whomever you want to be in your bridal party.
As Laura mentioned, it might be nice if you ask the younger sister to be involved in the wedding in some way if you're afraid of upsetting her. Perhaps she could do a reading or be an usherette!

Are you closer to the older one? I think it’s fine to only invite one, but if you have the same relationship with both of them, I think it’s a bit odd to not ask them both.

Two of my bridesmaids are my cousins who happen to be sisters too. Obviously they're both my bridesmaids. They will be 15 & 20 by the time of my wedding next year.
