It rained all day at my Husband and I Wedding, and at the time I was so angry. But I knew that I was going to do it all over anyway! But I never knew what the meaning behind it was, or if it is a meaning? Or is this old saying, just what it's called, "old"? What do you think? When nothings going...

What do you think? When nothings going right at your Wedding, rather it's Rain, Snow, etc...

Is it the Devil working over-time trying to stop you?!

Well truth be told, I'm praying that I get a calm, sweet and beautiful weather bliss this time!!

If anyone take some time to do an extensive research on this, I'm sure they will find about the same# of successful marriage where it did or didn't rain on the wedding day and the same in failures where it did/didn't rain on the wedding day. There are no facts there.

Ah, so that's why my marriage at 16 didn't work. It wasn't because we were young and stupid, or that he cheated on me with my sister and got her pregnant. It was the lack of rain. Hopefully this time it will pour, or I might end up like Ross...

Judith... did you just make a FRIENDS reference?!!??! Do you happen to know that I ADORE that show and own every season and used to watch it continuously (and could continue watching it forever without it ever getting old)? Seriously. Best.. show.. ever.

& now I love you more! Smiley smile

I'm scared to death of rain on my wedding day... i just realized i'm getting married in the "wettest month" but I don't think I should let that deter my plans... It could rain anytime!

But i'm not superstitious and if God wants it to rain on my wedding day then okay fine i'll be mad but I don't think that means that the marriage won't last. I'll just try to remind myself that maybe theres a reason above myself that it had to rain that day. Its me and my fiance's day... but that doesn't mean the world revolves around us.

I'll find a way to make it beautiful anyway and i'll get my dance in the rain... If my dress gets ruined... eh so what I only plan on doing this once. I will admit though when choosing my venue i'm going to make sure theres a gorgeous covered place to hold the ceremony and reception if it does happen to rain so i don't get too upset on my wedding day. I want to still be really happy with my plan B.

BTW Friends is seriously my favorite show of all time!

I don't suppose I could encorporate the words "He's her lobster" into the wedding somehow cus that would be too cute! LoL

Jen, I might have... seriously, nothing compares to Friends, it really is the greatest sitcom of all time.

And I guess I don't know how much cake toppers run for, since we aren't having a cake, but this seems kind of pricey.
