You don't need to match the invitations. You actually shouldn't go out of your way to match the wedding colors or you run the risk of matching the wedding party. I wouldn't think twice about the invitations, just pick what you like.

I'd say burgundy!! it would go with navy and/or dark green! Plus its a personal favorite Do you know what the bridesmaids are wearing? you might not want to match them.

Wear what you like. You need not match, or avoid matching, anything. Invitation colors are not necessarily wedding colors. Only whoever decorates for the wedding needs to even think about it. People are not supposed to dress to match furniture and decorations.

I would avoid matching the colors actually

As a guest, I definitely wouldn't make it a point to match the invitations or the color scheme. Just don't wear white or anything close to it

I've never heard of matching invites. I probably wouldn't match their wedding colors so I didn't look like a bridesmaid? I typically wear neutral colors to weddings.

Who cares as long as you dont wear white and even then as I bride I don't care if someone wore white. Obviously they arent In a bridal gown and ppl should know who's wedding they're attending

So I assume what you're asking is how to avoid navy, green and burgundy in picking a fall dress so that you don't match the wedding party or decor. I think you shouldn't worry about it! You won't match exactly. If you're still worried, maybe focus on looking at prints!
