Ideas to really up the “royal-core”/“princess” look of my wedding dress.

I purchased a dress by Demetrius (see first pic) and I have bought a sewn-in hoop skirt to really up the ante. I added off the shoulder sleeves instead and have a tiara. It has a SUPER long train (4 feet longer than the cathedral) and my veil is even longer. (I don’t look like those models of course 🙃 so I’m on the thicker side.)

I don’t want to wear my ballgown all night so I’m doing a dress change for the banquet. I’m thinking about doing the second picture (with a tulle skirt over it for the first dance and the mother-daughter dance, then taking it off for the bride/bridesmaid dance). What are you thoughts on this? Do you feel like the ideas are cohesive and any thoughts on how to really ENHANCE the princess feel? Does the second dress come off as … trashy?

I think both of your dresses look amazing! I'm not normally one for feathers but that dress it suits so much. It looks fun but still dressed up and pretty. I like the look of the silver shoes with it to match the bead work as well. Have you thought about what shoes you are going to wear yet? Smiley smile

The second dress is so fire and I like the dichotomy of the two. Now I’m rethinking my reception dress because yours is amazing.

Thank you so much! I feel like I’m going from royal princess for the ceremony to modern day rich girl for the reception.

Love the second dress! The first is beautiful but seems really heavy.
