I'm making a wedding timeline for my FH and his groomsmen. They have a large amount of free time at one point (2 - 3 hours) while we are getting our hair and makeup done, and I was trying to come up with fun ideas & activities that they could do in their room to pass the time. FH is going to be super nervous as he hates getting in front of people, so I know that if he's just sitting there doing nothing for 2 hours he's likely going to get sick. Ha!

So far I have playing poker and the Nintendo Switch as something to pass the time. They'll have drinks as well but I'm still thinking they need some other options.

So are mine. I'm well aware that they can do whatever they would like to do. I was just gathering ideas on options that they could use/not use to entertain themselves.

Do you really need to plan an activity for him? Why don't you just ask him what he thinks he might like to do to pass the time? He's an adult I presume and can come up with an idea to entertain himself and calm his nerves. Giving him suggestions for what he might be able to do around the venue is one thing but I really don't think that needs to be built into the timeline.

I think the best person to ask for ideas would be... Your FH. He'll be able to think of somethings or you can spitball together.

I was thinking the same thing. I figured FH and his friends will goof off until its time for them to get ready.

I'd let him come up with whatever he wants to do, as long as it isn't ridiculous like shooting at the range at sunrise, which is apparently what my H will be doing this weekend as a GM. It's nice that you want to help, but this is not your problem.
