Hello! My fiancée and I are planning to get married in Iceland. We've hired a planner to help with logisitcs and the obvious language barrier. Do you know anyone who has done this? Have you been to a destination wedding in Iceland? Just looking for input!

You booked with Icelandair! I was just looking at that excursion/tour package. Thank you for that information! Yes, I think we will might be renting a car, especially do go see the plane in Solheimasandur -- that way we will have more flexibility to see the lights!

Has anyone been to Thingvillir National Park, Elliðaárdalur, or Reykjanesfólkvangur? Those are some possible ceremony locations we are interested in. We're also interested in the black sand beaches down south.

I can just hear my family now... "We left the white sand beaches that are five minutes from your house to go to black sand beach. It would have been easier to just dye the sand!"

We just returned from Iceland this past week. Photographed a wedding and an engagement session. We will be returning again soon. Can't say enough about that place. Here's one from the E-session. This place is like another planet.
